- Handle cash and perform cash handling duties accurately.
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing merchandise display through effective merchandising techniques.
- Assist with stocking shelves and ensuring products are readily available for customers.
- Conduct product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits to customers.
- Upsell products by identifying customer needs and suggesting relevant items.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain knowledge of sales promotions, store policies, and product information to effectively assist customers.
- Supervise junior staff members when required, ensuring adherence to company standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and performing retail math calculations.
- Proficiency in using POS systems for efficient transaction processing.
- Experience with stocking, merchandising, and maintaining store displays is a plus.
