Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations and diagnose oral health conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Administer anesthesia and perform various dental procedures including fillings, extractions, and root canals.
- Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques during all procedures.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and support staff to provide efficient patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records using dental software systems.
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.
- Experience with dental software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
