Overview
We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as In-Home Caregivers. As an In-Home Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in providing essential care and support to individuals in the comfort of their homes. Caregivers will support getting resident ready in the mornings, helping with trips to the restroom and returning to chair or bed
Duties
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare and cook meals according to dietary needs
- Provide support with cleaning and bathing resident and supporting bathroom care
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Perform patient observation and report any changes in condition
- Support individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities in their daily routines
- Offer hospice care when needed
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
Skills
- Experience in patient care and working with Seniors and with people with developmental disabilities or disabilities is helpful but not required
- We will help you complete the 10 hours of On-line training, all done at a time convienent for you
- Ability to cook and prepare meals
- Excellent social interaction skill for effective communication
