TITLE: Machine Operator (Punch Press Dept.)
DATE OF JOB POSTING: April 2026
REPORTS TO: Punch Press Dept. Supervisor
FUNCTION: This position will be trained to operate a variety of presses including clicker press, brake press, punch press, roll form, and corner round. May be assigned other tasks as deemed necessary by management.
HOURS: Full time (40 hours/week) Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm. Occasional overtime.
LOCATION: Almetek Industries, Inc. at 2 Joy Dr. Hackettstown NJ 07840
COMPENSATION: Hourly, non-exempt. Starting rate of $17-19/hour.

REQUIREMENTS:
* Must be mechanically inclined
* The ability to read and follow work instructions
* Safety-focused at all times
* Professional communication skills
* The ability to work successfully with a diverse group of individuals
* Ability to maintain a clean and safe workspace
* Ability to read and measure with a ruler
* Ability to follow all OSHA regulations and wear required Personal Protective Equipment
* Inspects first work pieces for conformance to specifications and quality
* Experience in the metal fabrication industry preferred but not required
* Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. Be able to perform the physical aspects of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, which may include but not limited to sitting, standing, walking, crouching, bending, reaching, twisting, fine manipulation, exposure to loud noises/oil/fumes, hot and cold climates in the plant.
