What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift position at ALMAC Group?
Almac Group is currently seeking a Production Supervisor for our Souderton, PA location. The Production Supervisor will oversee all operations and staff employed by Almac Clinical Services in the packaging area ensuring that quality is maintained in products for the safety, well-being, and protection of the patient.
**This is a 2nd Shift Position: 3:00pm to 11:10pm**
** Shift will include 10% shift differential**
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Maintain compliance with all current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Accurately complete and review relevant sections of batch documentation, ensuring operations are completed according to the documentation and executed properly in the COSMOS system.
- Allocate and rotate production teams to scheduled operations ensuring continuity throughout a study/protocol and adherence to the master production schedule.
- Maintain consistently high standards of supervision of all team members and provide direction to staff in resolving production-related problems.
- Monitor production rooms to ensure maximum efficiency is being achieved without compromising the quality of the product.
Qualifications:
Required Experience / Education:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Minimum 2 years production/manufacturing experience.
- Team Lead or Group Lead experience (not required to be in Pharmaceutical).
Preferred Experience / Education:
- Associates Degree preferred.
- 2 Years Supervisory experience (not required to be in Pharmaceutical)
- Pharmaceutical or similar GMP environment experience preferred.
