Almac is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant for the Durham, NC location. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for directly supporting the Drug Returns Warehouse Manager in analyzing departmental activities to maintain databases for metrics, revenue, destruction & Drug Accountability Setups and the generation of technical documents to ensure accurate data is held in COSMOS for billing purposes.

- Assist and serve as a backup to the Drug Returns Warehouse Manager in operational setup activities
- Create/Maintain departmental databases (Metrics, Destruction Matrix, DA Setups, Invoice Queries & Credits and DCR’s) and provide reports as requested by the Drug Returns Manager & Supervisors.
- Generate Data Change Requests to address specific issues with data entered into COSMOS. Serve as a liaison between the Returns Department and Information Services to communicate the execution of DCR’s into the Production environment to Returns and to perform any DCR/Incident Monitor close out activities.
- Destruction PO’s, estimated charges reports to compare current operational revenue to the monthly budget
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Associate’s degree
- 1 – 2 years’ experience – Administrative duties/tasks
- 1 – 2 years’ experience – Administrative Assistant in a warehouse pharmaceutical environment
- 1 – 2 years’ experience - working with clinical supplies
- Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Access at an intermediate or expert level
- Database maintenance
- 3 - 5 years’ experience – MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Access
