Job Title: Optical Technician

Key Responsibilities:

· Greet patients warmly and create a welcoming environment

· Perform preliminary testing, including visual acuity checks

· Record patient and family health histories

· Verify eyeglass prescriptions and order contact lenses

· Enter prescription medications accurately into the system

Additional Duties May Include:

· Answering phones and scheduling appointments

· Verifying insurance benefits (vision and medical)

· Receiving payments for services and goods

· Managing patient referrals

· Completing various office tasks as needed

Work Hours:

· Monday through Friday

· Occasional Saturday mornings

· Flexibility to fill in at other locations as needed

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent required.

· Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.

· Team oriented with a positive, proactive attitude
