Job Summary:
We are hiring two Receptionists or Medical Assistants to support both front desk and back-office operations. Full-time and part-time positions are available. While Medical Assistant experience is a plus, we are primarily seeking team members who are calm, kind, and confident communicators, especially when working with patients who may be anxious or unwell.
New MA graduates are welcome — we are happy to train the right individuals.
Responsibilities:
Front Desk (Receptionist):
- Greet and check in patients warmly and professionally
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, verify insurance
- Collect copays and handle incoming/outgoing documents
- Maintain a clean, organized reception area
- Communicate clearly, patiently, and respectfully with patients and families
Back Office (Non-Clinical – All Applicants):
- Prepare exam rooms and ensure proper supply stocking
- Enter/update basic patient information in the EMR
- Assist with lab orders, forms, and coordination of care
- Support provider with general administrative tasks
- Help maintain smooth, respectful patient flow through the clinic
Clinical Duties (If Certified or Trained as MA):
- Take and record vitals
- Assist with wound care
- Provide patient instructions as directed by provider
- Handle lab specimens and testing preparation
Qualifications:
- Experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred
- Medical Assistant certification preferred but not required
- New MA graduates encouraged to apply – training provided
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential
- Calm, friendly, and professional demeanor — even with difficult or upset patients
- Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
- Familiarity with EMR and basic computer applications
- Bilingual is a plus
Schedule & Benefits:
- Two positions available – part-time or full-time
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (some flexibility considered)
