Arizona Infectious Disease is looking for a RECEPTIONIST/FRONT OFFICE for our Scottsdale, AZ office.
JOB DUTIES:
- Oversee daily front desk operations physician practice
- Prepares office for daily activities
- Screens visitors and responds to routine requests for information
- Greets patients arriving for appointments and ensures that all paperwork, insurance information, etc. are up to date and correct
- Collects co-pay and balances if necessary
- Notifies clinic staff of patient arrivals
- Maintains accurate and timely patient information in EMR (Athena) database
- Answer telephone and transfer the caller to appropriate staff member
- Confirm patient appointments
- Schedule patients and follow-up appointments and obtain authorization/referrals as necessary
- Other duties and assignments as necessary

Experience:
- Athenahealth: ( 1 year preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
- Medical terminology: 1 year (Preferred)
- Computer skills: 1 year (Preferred)
- Scottsdale, AZ 85257: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Language:
- English and Spanish (Preferred)
