The Bulk Tech role consists of loading furniture and other bulky items to a truck and trailer and hauling it to the landfill. Job Summary
Ally Waste is hiring for the exciting Bulk Tech position which is a fundamental role to deliver our waste support services to the apartment communities we serve. The Bulk Tech role consists of loading furniture and other bulky items to a truck and trailer and hauling it to the landfill. Duties/Responsibilities
- Using a company truck and trailer, drive to up to 20 properties daily on assigned route
- Check in, take photos, and document bulky items/furniture at each property using our proprietary app
- Load heavy items to the truck using stacking techniques
- Haul items to the assigned landfill
- Empty items from the trailer or truck (depending on equipment used)
- Work quickly and efficiently to complete pickups in a timely manner
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.- 100 lbs at a time
- Must be able to get in and out of truck hundreds of dozens of times throughout the shift
- Must be able to work quickly
- Must be willing to get dirty; cannot be afraid of the smells at a landfill
- Must be able to operate a vehicle safely for 10 hours at a time
- Must be able to work 5 8-hour shifts, Monday-Friday from 3 AM to 11PM
- Driver's license and driving record in good standing

- $20-$22 per hour based on experience
- Overtime available to top performers
