Work Schedule:
Ally designates roles as (1) fully on-site, (2) hybrid, or (3) fully remote. Hybrid roles are generally expected to be in the office a certain number of days per week as indicated by your manager. The Opportunity

**Please note, this position can be filled at a 3H, 3G or 3F level based on experience**

Responsible for executing and facilitating the day-to-day strategic objectives for a given Consumer Underwriting Sales Territory. The focus will be on supporting the Underwriting Manager and Consumer Underwriters with daily territory maintenance activities.

The Work Itself

  • Maximize portfolio revenue by practicing sound underwriting judgment and risk management principles.
  • Ensure compliance with underwriting policies; elevate risk issues, and stay abreast of constant changes in policy and procedures.
  • Limited travel will be required for this role.
  • Requires flexibility in work schedule, evening hours and weekends may be required.
  • Demonstrated strong performance in managing key relationships and/or key markets to drive business plan results.

The Skills You Bring

3H – Associate Underwriter
  • High school/GED is required; bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • 1 years in auto finance consumer underwriting (prime, sub-prime, and/or non-prime), or financial services is preferred
  • Ability to perform technical based activities
  • Knowledge of and exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts
  • Demonstrating technical expertise and relationships to supply to strategy and drive business results
  • Familiar with the Auto Finance industry, consumer credit, trend analysis/analytics
  • Excellent sales, negotiation, problem solving, and analytical skills
  • Must be an independent worker with strong time leadership skills

Base Pay Range: $47,840 - $61,420 - $75,000

3G – Underwriter

  • High school/GED is required; bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • 1 years in auto finance consumer underwriting (prime, sub-prime, and/or non-prime), or financial services is required
  • Ability to perform technical based activities
  • Knowledge of and exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts.
  • Demonstrating technical expertise and relationships to supply to strategy and drive business results
  • Familiar with the Auto Finance industry, consumer credit, trend analysis/analytics
  • Excellent sales, negotiation, problem solving, and analytical skills
  • Must be an independent worker with strong time leadership skills

Base Pay Range: $55,000 - $75,000 - $95,000

3F – Sr. Underwriter

  • High school/GED required; bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
  • 3 years in auto finance underwriting (prime, sub-prime, and/or non-prime) is required; 5 years in auto finance underwriting experience preferred
  • 2 years leadership experience preferred
  • Ability to provide advice/direction in primary areas of expertise leveraging technical expertise and relationships to contribute to strategy and drive business results
  • Contribute to and manage projects
  • Excellent sales, negotiation, problem solving, analytical, and project management skills
  • Exemplary dealer relationship management skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs

Base Pay Range: $70,000 - $85,000 - $100,000

Base Pay Range: $70000 - $100000 USD

Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan.
