We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dietary Manager to lead our Dietary Department in a skilled nursing setting. This role is essential in ensuring high-quality nutritional care, regulatory compliance, and a positive dining experience for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and oversee daily operations of the Dietary Department
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations
- Process diet orders and changes in collaboration with Nursing
- Maintain sanitary and safe food handling practices
- Monitor food, supply, and equipment inventory levels
- Participate in state surveys and regulatory inspections
- Address and resolve departmental concerns and grievances
- Assist with care planning and discharge planning for residents
- Ensure documentation and dietary notes are accurate and timely
- Collaborate with the Infection Control Committee
- Support budgeting, cost control, and financial oversight
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification required
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in healthcare dietary services
- Strong knowledge of dietary regulations in long-term care
Preferred:
- Certified Dietary Manager (CDM)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to move throughout the facility regularly
- Lift, push, or carry up to 25 lbs
- Assist in emergency situations as needed
- Work in a moderate noise-level environment
