We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dietary Manager to lead our Dietary Department in a skilled nursing setting. This role is essential in ensuring high-quality nutritional care, regulatory compliance, and a positive dining experience for our residents.

‍ Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and oversee daily operations of the Dietary Department
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations
• Process diet orders and changes in collaboration with Nursing
• Maintain sanitary and safe food handling practices
• Monitor food, supply, and equipment inventory levels
• Participate in state surveys and regulatory inspections
• Address and resolve departmental concerns and grievances
• Assist with care planning and discharge planning for residents
• Ensure documentation and dietary notes are accurate and timely
• Collaborate with the Infection Control Committee
• Support budgeting, cost control, and financial oversight
  
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification required
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in healthcare dietary services
• Strong knowledge of dietary regulations in long-term care
  
  
  

Preferred:

• Certified Dietary Manager (CDM)
  
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Ability to move throughout the facility regularly
• Lift, push, or carry up to 25 lbs
• Assist in emergency situations as needed
• Work in a moderate noise-level environment
