What You’d Be Doing (Core Responsibilities)
This is a hands-on cleaning role in a healthcare or residential facility. Your main goal is to keep the environment clean, safe, and comfortable for residents.
Daily tasks include:
- Following cleaning schedules
- Cleaning rooms, bathrooms, fixtures, and equipment
- Sweeping, mopping, waxing, and disinfecting floors
- Taking out trash and relining bins
- Using cleaning chemicals safely
- Wearing protective equipment when needed
- Coordinating with nursing staff when cleaning resident areas
- Reporting accidents or safety issues
Important Expectations
- You must protect residents’ private health information (HIPAA awareness)
- Follow strict safety and sanitation protocols
- Handle chemicals and potentially infectious materials carefully
- Able to read, write, and understand English
- Follow instructions (written and verbal)

This is a physically active job:
