Description
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled School-Based Clinical Trainee to join our dedicated team in Crookston, MN. This vital role focuses on delivering therapeutic services to students in grades K–5 at Highland Elementary School, supporting both the students and their families to foster emotional well-being and academic success.
As a key member of our school-based mental health team, you will work collaboratively with an Alluma network of experienced clinicians and within the Crookston school district building. You will play an essential role in promoting mental wellness by helping young students develop the tools they need to understand, manage, and overcome emotional and behavioral challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group therapy services to elementary-aged children (K–5).
- Engage with families to support treatment planning, communication, and coordination of care.
- Collaborate with school staff, teachers, and administration to support students’ overall development.
- Create and implement interventions focused on early identification, prevention, and management of mental health concerns.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with organizational and licensing standards.

Qualifications
Requirements
- Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy
- Certification, licensure, or registration with the clinical discipline
- Unrestricted independent licensure as an LICSW, LPCC, or LMFT in Minnesota
- Unrestricted independent licensure as a North Dakota LICSW, LPCC, or LMFT is preferred
- Training or certification DBT, TF-CBT, EMDR preferred
- Must pass a criminal background check
Salary : $62,400 - $70,000
