Job Summary:
We are looking for a Senior Unix Shell Scripting Engineer with 8 years of experience to support critical applications for a leading US-based Investment Bank. The role requires strong Unix/Linux expertise, scripting skills, and experience in production support and automation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, maintain, and optimize Unix Shell (Korn Shell/Bash) scripts.
* Automate operational tasks, batch jobs, file transfers, and monitoring.
* Provide production support and troubleshoot Unix/Linux application issues.
* Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and database teams.
* Support application deployments and production releases.
* Ensure system stability, performance, and operational efficiency.
* Create and maintain technical documentation.

* Experience with SQL and Oracle or other relational databases.
* Familiarity with Git and file transfer protocols (SFTP/SCP).
* Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and automation skills.
