Multi-site Inventory Coordinator

AllSTEM Connections
Cincinnati, OH Full Time
POSTED ON 7/28/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 8/26/2026

We are seeking a hands-on, analytical Multi-Site Production & Inventory Coordinator to serve as the operational link between production, inventory, warehousing, and ERP data management. This role requires someone who thrives on a balanced mix of floor-level engagement and desk-based systems work—splitting time 50% on the shop floor and 50% at the desk.

An ideal candidate will be operating across a multi-site and multi-state footprint, this and will directly manage and mentor 3 site coordinators situated across our separate facilities. The position will be based primarily out of our Cincinnati location and will transition to our new Northern Kentucky facility full-time once it opens. Regular travel to our Columbus facility is required at least twice per quarter.

This role is responsible for maintaining complete visibility of inventory, work-in-process (WIP), and finished assemblies across a high-volume operation managing $100 million annually in inventory across 7,500 active parts.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Multi-Site Team Management

  • Directly manage, mentor, and align a team of 3 site coordinators located across our separate operational facilities.
  • Ensure standardized inventory, production control, and transaction processes are rigorously followed across all multi-state sites.
  • Coordinate day-to-day cross-facility inventory and production activities to ensure multi-state demand, manufacturing schedules, and shipments remain tightly aligned.

Shop Floor & Operational Presence (50% Floor / 50% Desk)

  • Spend 50% of your time on the floor engaging directly with production supervisors and warehouse personnel to verify job locations, material consumption, and physical staging.
  • Oversee physical inventory movement from receipt through fabrication, staging, shipment, and project completion.
  • Lead physical cycle counts, hands-on audits, and floor-to-system reconciliations.

ERP Data Integrity & High-Volume Inventory Control

  • Serve as the primary owner of inventory accuracy across a massive scale of 7,500 parts and $100M in annual inventory.
  • Ensure high-volume inventory transfers, material issues, receipts, adjustments, and production transactions are recorded correctly and promptly.
  • Eliminate inventory inaccuracies caused when orders are entered under one location, but materials are consumed, fabricated, or shipped from another.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, negative inventory situations, location mismatches, and high-volume transaction errors.

Planning & Process Optimization

  • Review high-volume demand, production schedules, and inventory availability to proactively identify potential shortages or transaction bottlenecks.
  • Support purchasing and planning teams by maintaining bulletproof inventory data used for replenishment decisions.
  • Develop, refine, and scale procedures related to multi-site inventory tracking, labeling, transfers, and staging.

Qualifications

Required

  • Experience: 5 years of experience in inventory control, production coordination, materials management, manufacturing operations, or supply chain management within a high-volume background handling complex parts portfolio.
  • Environment: Proven experience working in a multi-site and multi-state, fabrication, or distribution environment.
  • ERP Mastery: Deep experience with ERP systems for inventory transactions, location management, transfers, work orders, and reporting. Sage ERP experience is strongly preferred, though deep proficiency in other robust ERP platforms will be considered.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including robust Microsoft Excel capabilities
  • Work Style: Comfort and willingness to operate in a hybrid environment requiring a 50/50 split between office environments and active shop floors.
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience managing direct reports across multiple facilities.

Preferred

  • Experience with products, metal fabrication, construction materials, or industrial manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with bills of material (BOMs), work orders, routings, and advanced manufacturing workflows.
