Job Title: Financial Reporting Consultant

Location: Rosemead, CA 91770 (Hybrid: Onsite Monday & Tuesday)

Duration: 6 Months possible extension

Pay Rate: $76.00–$86.32/hr.

Responsibilities

• Lead consolidation of financial results across multiple subsidiaries and prepare consolidated financial statements.
• Perform intercompany eliminations, top-side adjustments, and account reconciliations.
• Prepare and support SEC filings, financial statement disclosures, and external reporting documentation.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, and XBRL standards.
• Develop management and Board-level financial reports.
• Conduct accounting research and assess the impact of new accounting standards, regulations, and SEC guidance.
• Lead implementation of new accounting and disclosure requirements.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency and controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• Consolidation module experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial statement preparation.
• Experience preparing SEC filings and external financial reports.
• Experience with SAP.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA or equivalent certification.
• Experience with Workiva reporting software.
• Knowledge of Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) Uniform System of Accounts.
• Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling and data analysis.
• Experience leading accounting policy implementation and process improvement initiatives.
