Job Summary
We are seeking an Entry-Level Electrical Design Technician for a 6-month contract opportunity in Greenville, SC, with strong potential for permanent conversion based on performance and business needs. This hybrid role is ideal for a recent technical graduate or early-career drafting professional with hands-on Revit experience and an interest in electrical design for construction, industrial facilities, and infrastructure projects.
In this role, you will work closely with senior engineering and design professionals who provide structured guidance, training, and project support. The environment is collaborative, team-oriented, and focused on helping developing professionals build confidence, technical accuracy, and long-term career skills in electrical design and BIM coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed electrical construction drawings, schematic diagrams, and project deliverables using BIM and design software.
- Translate conceptual layouts and engineering direction into accurate technical documentation.
- Coordinate design details with architectural, structural, mechanical, and other engineering disciplines.
- Support spatial coordination and clash review using tools such as Navisworks and/or Revizto.
- Maintain drafting accuracy, consistency, and compliance with project standards and timelines.
- Participate in quality control reviews and make revisions based on feedback from senior design and engineering staff.
Compensation and Benefits
- Compensation: $29.00 to $45.00 per hour.
- Employment type: 6-month contract with potential for permanent conversion.
- Work style: Hybrid.
- Location: Greenville, SC 29607.
- Schedule requirement: Must report to the office at least two days per week, with increased on-site presence during the first several weeks for onboarding and training.
