Key Responsibilities
- Data Modeling & Architecture: Design, implement, and manage data warehouses, data marts, and data stores. Create models for new development and system upgrades.
- Performance Optimization: Diagnose and resolve database performance, scalability, and access issues. Identify gaps and inefficiencies to streamline data systems.
- Data Governance: Oversee and enforce data standards, master data management, and security policies.
- Collaboration: Partner with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements, analyze needs, and deliver scalable data solutions.
- Database Expertise: Deep understanding of relational database structures, principles, and theories. Direct experience with SQL Database and SQL Management Studio.
- Technical Stack: * Proficiency in SQL and modern programming languages (e.g., .NET, C#, Java).
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Visual Studio, and Windows Server OS.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to build rapport with cross-functional teams and clearly resolve technical issues.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: * Minimum of 8 years of direct experience in the data/database field.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience specifically in data architecting, large-scale data modeling, data mining, and business requirements analysis.
