Courtesy Patrol Officer (Residential Community –FULL TIME ) – $21/hrPosition SummaryThe Courtesy Patrol Officer is responsible for securing and monitoring multiple client properties throughout Irvine. This position requires active patrol, prompt response to dispatch calls, and consistent documentation using company-provided software. Security Officers assigned to Gardens Communities serve as Courtesy Patrol Officers (CPs) and are expected to maintain a visible, professional presence while supporting residents, property management, and dispatch operations. Key ResponsibilitiesPatrol & Property SecurityConduct mobile patrols of multiple assigned locations.Perform gate openings and closures, lock-ups, and door checks.Monitor properties for suspicious activity, trespassers, noise disturbances, and safety concerns.Remove transients from property when necessary, following company policy.Maintain a visible and professional presence at all times.Dispatch & ResponseRespond promptly to noise complaints, trespassers, and other security-related calls.Communicate consistently with Gardens Dispatch.Respond to both dispatch-originated tasks and system-generated tasks.Complete a minimum of two tasks per hour (or one task every thirty minutes), as required by client standards.Reporting & DocumentationComplete Daily Activity Reports (DARs) and Incident Reports using the Silvertrac software system on company-issued phone(s).Accurately document all patrol activities, incidents, and responses in real time.Maintain clear, detailed, and professional written reports.Support & Team CoordinationAssist Field Supervisors as needed.Maintain professional communication with residents, management, and dispatch.Follow all company and client policies and procedures.Work EnvironmentThis position involves continuous patrol of the residential community and responding to active calls for service. Officers must remain alert, professional, and proactive throughout their shift while maintaining a visible security presence. Minimum RequirementsMUST possess an active BSIS Guard CardMUST be at least 21 years of ageMUST have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving recordMUST have reliable transportationMUST demonstrate strong customer service skillsMUST have strong verbal and written communication skillsMUST be able to write and speak fluent EnglishMUST pass a background check and random drug testingFair Housing training preferred but not required
