Responsibilities
- Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
- Solicits for new business via telephone, networking, and other lead sources.
- Develop insurance quotes, makes sales presentations, and closes sales.
- Ask each client for referrals and explain our referral program.
- Treat each client contact as a cross and up-sell opportunity including financial products.
- Some level of service and follow-up with current in-book clients.
Requirements
- Personal Lines or P&C license strongly preferred or candidates in the process of obtaining this license preferred.
- Minimum 1 year sales experience required
- Bachelors degree strongly preferred, but not required.
- Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be coach-able.
- Be a great self-starter with a sense of urgency.
- Confident and motivated who works well independently.
- Ability to communicate well over the phone
- Typing accuracy and computer skills needed
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
