Quest Healthcare is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our growing team. This position is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to make an impact within a healthcare organization.
The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate accounting records, supporting payroll processes, and assisting with month-end and year-end financial reporting.
Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
- Process and reconcile payroll-related accounting transactions
- Prepare and maintain General Ledger entries
- Perform bank and account reconciliations
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Prepare financial reports and supporting schedules
- Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting activities
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Collaborate with department leaders to support operational and financial goals
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Previous accounting experience preferred
- Healthcare accounting experience is a plus
- Knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and General Ledger functions
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience with accounting software and payroll systems preferred
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
