National Sales Manager - Building Products Manufacturer - Base Salary to 105k/year - Garfield Heights, OH
- Our client is an established U.S.-based manufacturer serving the concrete construction and building products markets, including cast-in-place, tilt-up, precast, and prestressed concrete applications.
- They are seeking a National Sales Manager to drive new business development, national account growth, and key account management within a specialized concrete construction products division. This onsite position is based in Garfield Heights, OH, with travel Tuesday through Thursday every other week initially, approximately 6–9 days per month. Additional schedule flexibility may become available over time based on performance.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute national sales strategies focused on revenue growth, market expansion, and new customer acquisition.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with national accounts, key accounts, contractors, manufacturers, and distributors in the construction and building products markets.
- Manage and expand existing customer relationships through strategic account management and territory development.
- Develop sales opportunities involving precast concrete, concrete accessories, and related construction products.
- Manage outside sales activities, territory sales plans, customer prospecting, and business development initiatives.
- Maintain CRM records, sales pipeline activity, revenue forecasts, and account reporting.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, customer service, and leadership teams to support customer requirements and sales objectives.
- Represent the company at customer meetings, industry trade shows, and construction market events.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and opportunities within the concrete construction and building materials industries.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of outside sales, territory management, business development, or key account management experience.
- Experience developing new business and expanding existing customer accounts, including national accounts, strategic accounts, or assigned sales territories.
- Experience with customer prospecting, account development, sales pipeline management, and revenue growth.
- Ability to travel approximately 6–9 days per month for customer meetings, territory development, and industry events.
Compensation:
- Base salary in the 90k - 105k/year range, plus performance bonus (quarterly and year end) plus car allowance.
