Bid Coordinator - Construction - Base Salary to 50k/year - Warren, MI

• Our client is a growing specialty contractor providing commercial and industrial construction services for municipalities, healthcare facilities, educational institutions, manufacturing facilities, government entities, and private-sector clients. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Bid Coordinator to support the sales and estimating teams with construction bid submissions, proposals, and related administrative functions.
• The Bid Coordinator will manage the bid process from opportunity tracking through submission, coordinating information between estimators, sales leadership, vendors, clients, and general contractors. This position is responsible for maintaining bid schedules, preparing and reviewing proposal documentation, working within online bid portals, and ensuring submissions meet applicable pricing, scope, documentation, and deadline requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and track construction bid opportunities, deadlines, and submission requirements.
• Prepare, format, proofread, and finalize proposals, bid packages, and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with estimators and sales leadership to gather pricing, scope, and other information required for bid submissions.
• Submit bids through online bid portals, government procurement portals, and general contractor systems.
• Follow up with vendors, clients, and general contractors regarding bid requirements, clarifications, and missing information.
• Maintain records of bid opportunities, submissions, deadlines, and outcomes.
• Review bid documentation for pricing, scope, and submission requirements prior to delivery.
• Support sales and estimating functions through CRM updates, reporting, and bid-related administrative activities.
• Prepare and distribute internal bid schedules and status updates.

Qualifications:

• Experience in construction, contracting, or a related industry supporting bid submissions and proposals.
• Experience coordinating bids, proposals, estimating support, or construction-related administrative processes.
• Experience managing bid deadlines, bid documentation, and multiple concurrent submissions.
• Experience working with online bid portals, government procurement portals, general contractor systems, or similar electronic bidding platforms.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience using CRM systems.

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 40k - 50k/year range
