WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
As our Studio Director, you'll own three critical areas:
SALES & REVENUE GROWTH (40% of role)
· Convert prospects into lifelong clients through consultative sales approaches
· Conduct Starting Point sessions and drive new member enrollment
· Manage the complete sales pipeline from lead generation to close
· Track and optimize key metrics: lead conversion, booking rates, show rates, and close rates
· Execute phone sales, lead follow-up, and trial client conversion strategies
· Partner with local businesses and community organizations to generate referral opportunities
MEMBER RETENTION & ENGAGEMENT (30% of role)
· Maintain exceptional retention rates through proactive member communication
· Conduct 5 accountability sessions weekly with at-risk members
· Reach out monthly to all clients with 8 missed sessions to re-engage them
· Organize quarterly challenges, InBody assessments, and member events
· Monitor visits-remaining reports and intervene before members disengage
· Create a culture where members become raving fans who refer their friends
TEAM LEADERSHIP & OPERATIONS (30% of role)
· Recruit, hire, and develop top-tier coaching talent
· Lead weekly team meetings and conduct quarterly performance evaluations
· Schedule staff effectively to maximize client experience and studio profitability
· Oversee daily operations including opening/closing, facility maintenance, and cleanliness
· Manage internal and external marketing initiatives and social media presence
· Train 10 hours per week while operating the business 30 hours per week
COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position combining hands-on training with business management. Compensation package includes base salary plus performance bonuses tied to studio growth and retention metrics.
WHO YOU ARE
Required Qualifications:
· Personal Training Certification (NASM, ACE, ACSM, or equivalent)
· CPR/AED/First Aid Certification
· Proven sales experience with track record of meeting/exceeding targets
· Management or leadership experience in fitness, retail, or service industries
· Strong technical proficiency with business software and client management systems

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
. Business Development & Marketing
· Execute external marketing events and community partnerships (Chamber, BNI)
· Develop B2B cross-promotion opportunities with local businesses
· Manage paid social media campaigns and organic content strategy
· Host referral events: open houses, VIP parties, member socials, and bring-a-friend sessions
· Set up promotional booths and distribute marketing materials at community events
Sales Management
· Own the entire sales process from initial contact through membership activation
· Manage Alloy Operations platform and maintain accurate client data in Trainerize
· Conduct Starting Point sessions that convert prospects at high rates
· Follow established sales systems and continuously optimize conversion rates
Retention Systems
· Run weekly visits-remaining reports and take immediate action on at-risk members
· Conduct monthly InBody weeks to track client progress and boost engagement
· Implement "Surprisingly Personable" monthly touchpoints with members
· Manage Frequent Sweaters program and milestone recognition initiatives
· Capture and share success stories that inspire current and prospective members
· Provide client support through Trainerize app for seamless member experience
Team Development
· Recruit and onboard new coaches using proven hiring systems
· Provide ongoing training and professional development for coaching staff
· Set up new hires in Mindbody, Operations, and Trainerize platforms
· Lead weekly leadership meetings and full team meetings
· Conduct quarterly check-ins and performance reviews with all staff members
· Manage coach schedules to optimize client experience and labor costs
· Implement quarterly secret shopper evaluations to maintain service excellence
Administrative Excellence
· Manage billing for client memberships and retail items
· Schedule clients efficiently to maximize session utilization
· Generate and analyze weekly/monthly reports to drive business decisions
· Ensure daily gym cleanliness and maintenance standards are met
· Maintain accurate records in all Alloy applications and systems
