Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Certified Personal Trainer role based in South Jordan, UT. The Certified Personal Trainer will lead small-group and one-on-one training sessions, delivering safe, effective, and engaging workouts aligned with Alloy’s science-backed programming. Daily responsibilities include assessing member fitness levels, designing or adapting individualized training plans, demonstrating proper exercise technique, and monitoring progress using Alloy assessment tools. The trainer will provide ongoing coaching, motivation, and education on healthy habits, while maintaining a clean and organized training environment. Additional tasks include collaborating with the studio team on member retention, supporting client onboarding, and upholding Alloy’s service standards and brand values.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Personal Training and Fitness Instruction, with the ability to design and lead effective, individualized and small-group sessions.
- Candidates should possess skills in Circuit Training and Sports Coaching to deliver varied, performance-focused workouts and support members with different athletic backgrounds.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Nutrition to provide basic guidance that supports members’ training goals and overall wellness.
- Current certification as a Personal Trainer (e.g., NASM, ACE, ACSM, ISSA or equivalent) and CPR/AED certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused mindset and the ability to motivate and engage diverse members.
- Strong professionalism, reliability, and ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed.
- Experience in boutique or small-group training environments is preferred; prior work within franchise or branded fitness concepts is a plus.
- Ability to safely demonstrate exercises and maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization in the training space.
