Position Overview

Title: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Pediatrics
Location: Seattle, WA 98122
Shift: 4x10 Days (7:45 AM – 6:00 PM)
Pay: $2300–$2400/week
Contract: 13 Weeks

Facility Highlights

• Outpatient Pediatric Therapy Clinic
• 8 patients/day | 8 treatment rooms
• Collaborative, family-centered care model
• EPIC documentation system (REQUIRED)

Patient Population

• Neurodevelopmental challenges
• Autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
• Developmental & language delays (expressive/receptive)
• ADHD & behavioral challenges
• Stuttering, articulation disorders
• Complications from prematurity

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat pediatric speech and language disorders
• Develop individualized plans of care (POC)
• Work closely with children with autism and their families
• Provide education and home programs for caregivers
• Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC

Required Skills (Must-Have)

• Pediatric Outpatient Experience
• Strong experience with:
  • Autism & developmental delays
  • Language & fluency disorders
  • Behavioral & neurodevelopmental conditions
• Proficiency with:
  • AAC devices & communication boards
  • Dysphagia management (bedside swallow, oral motor, compensatory strategies)
  • Standardized tools (CELF, PLS-4, Rossetti Scale)
• Strong patient & family education skills
• Knowledge of patient safety & abuse indicators
• Full documentation & billing workflow experience

Preferred Skills

• Feeding/dysphagia experience
• Augmentative communication systems
• Experience in children’s hospital, home health, or pediatric rehab settings
• Voice, hearing impairments, or sign language experience

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• CCC-SLP (ASHA Certified)
• Active WA License (or pending accepted)
• BLS Certification
