Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join a healthcare facility in Butte, MT. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience and will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients recover from injuries, improve mobility, and manage pain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and mobility training
- Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Educate patients and families on prescribed exercises and home care programs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient treatments and progress
- Ensure a safe and clean therapy environment in compliance with regulations
- Assist with patient positioning, transfers, and use of therapeutic equipment
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant
- Active PTA license in the state of Montana (or compact eligibility, if applicable)
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
