As a Airport Security Professional - Unarmed in Hilo, HI, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure airport environment by monitoring airport premises, conducting security patrols, and enforcing access control procedures. Position Type: Full Time - Afternoon

Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $1.96. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Requirements:

• 21 Years of Age
• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam
• Must also have the ability to pass a federal background check for DOT

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
• Monitor access points and observe for unusual or suspicious behavior within the location.
• Maintain detailed logs and reports of daily activities and any incidents encountered during patrols.
• Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal team members and onsite personnel as needed.
• Follow all site-specific guidelines and instructions while performing duties at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
