As a Security Professional - Armed Access Control in Delray Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an ACCESS_CONTROL professional, where you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling government locations. In this role, you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the government location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors and employees with access-related inquiries and procedures.
• Carry out security-related procedures in accordance with site-specific policies and protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report any unusual activity.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and access control issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency response teams when necessary, following the location's protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by law.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
