What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to members, guests, staff, and vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access to the location.
- Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity.
- Communicate with site contacts, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership regarding deliveries, guest arrivals, special events, and other security-related matters.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around entry areas, parking locations, and the perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Possess at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
