As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, greet tenants and visitors with strong customer service, and communicate clearly with building teams. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and management by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial property.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior common areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or property damage.
• Monitor access points and respond to alarms, calls for service, and other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken per post orders.
• Complete routine reports and incident documentation, communicate relevant information to property management and/or Allied Universal supervision, and support follow-up as directed.
• Observe and report maintenance issues, hazards, and policy violations to the appropriate contacts, assisting with traffic flow and visitor direction as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
