As a Security Officer Warehouse Access in Concord, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic technology location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. In this unarmed patrol role, you will contribute to daily operations with an agile, reliable, and innovative approach, while putting people first, working as a team, and acting with integrity.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify entry authorization as directed by site procedures, assisting with visitor processing and maintaining awareness of site activity.
• Support day-to-day operations by communicating with employees, guests, and/or vendors, following post orders, and assisting with security-related concerns as they arise.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
