As an Allied Universal Security Professional assigned to an access control post in an automotive environment, you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will provide exceptional customer service and communication, contributing to a secure environment for all. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license, and offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative setting.

What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel and visitors only.
• Assist with the implementation of site-specific policies and procedures related to access control and security-related matters.
• Provide customer service by addressing questions and/or concerns from employees, visitors, and contractors in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at access points in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around access-controlled areas and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity.
• Document and report any observed irregularities, including property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site management to address security-related needs and/or requests as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required as specified by the client.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
