What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the auto manufacturing location, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or activities within the facility.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related incidents, or maintenance issues to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of access control activities, visitor logs, and incident reports as required by Allied Universal and client site protocols.
• Collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel and client staff to support a secure and orderly environment at the auto manufacturing location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• CPR and first aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
