Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout retail and mall locations. Your presence and outstanding customer service will contribute to a welcoming environment for visitors and staff. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling assigned areas by vehicle as well as on foot, embodying our values of agility, reliability, and teamwork every day.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall environment and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or security-related incidents encountered during patrols within the location.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required by site procedures.
• Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site staff to address security-related concerns and provide a visible presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
