Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol in FOREST, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access points, assist employees and visitors with clear communication, and document observations for the site team. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to location staff and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, offices, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Control access at gates, doors, and other entry points by verifying authorization, monitoring visitor check-in, and directing deliveries to designated receiving areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site contacts and/or emergency services per post orders.
• Complete required reports and shift logs, document unusual activity, and communicate observations and/or concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
