Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Rover in Carthage, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced food and beverage location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access points and visitor activity. You will complete routine rounds, document observations, and communicate clearly with site teams and arriving drivers. Bring a people-first mindset, teamwork, and integrity in every interaction.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal post orders, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response procedures within a food and beverage production and warehouse location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related activities and escalating concerns through the chain of command.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards such as spills, obstructions, or damaged doors and gates.
• Control access by verifying identification, managing visitor and contractor check-in and/or check-out, and monitoring deliveries at entry points while coordinating with site contacts as needed.
• Monitor cameras, key access points, and fire and/or intrusion panels where assigned, reporting irregular conditions and completing required shift logs, reports, and pass-downs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
