As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will assist staff and visitors with courteous customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting of unusual activity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout offices, corridors, loading areas, and perimeter grounds to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Control access at entry points by verifying identification and/or authorization, managing visitor sign-in processes, and directing individuals to appropriate destinations per site policy.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or calls for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and notifying site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Complete detailed reports and logs of patrols, incidents, and security-related observations, and communicate relevant information during shift turnovers.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be able to provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be able to lift up to 20 lbs preferred.
• Have a guard card and/or license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
