Pay Rate: $22.00 - $23.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the banking location, including entrances, lobbies, office areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, helping to confirm that entry procedures are followed and that suspicious persons, packages, and/or activity are reported promptly.
• Support closing and opening routines, assist with security-related checks of doors, gates, lighting, and/or restricted areas, and communicate site-specific issues with Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
