What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, court personnel, and/or staff by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper channels.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout public areas, offices, hallways, entrances, exits, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and observe visitor movement within the location, assisting with entry procedures, directions, and policy compliance while maintaining a professional presence.
- Support daily court-related operations by communicating with site contacts, following post orders, and addressing security-related concerns in a respectful and timely manner.
Minimum Requirements:
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
