Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Observation in Omaha, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and team members, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access activity and verify authorized entry in accordance with site-specific procedures; provide directions and support for visitors and deliveries.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities through required reporting tools and maintain professional communication with site personnel.
  
  

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
