Job Description
As a Security Officer Driving Role Patrol Unit in Saint Louis, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post. In this role, you will support daily operations with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity while helping create a welcoming environment for everyone on site.

Job Schedule:
What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within an industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, remaining aware of changing conditions in a chemical and petrochemical environment.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor access requirements, and report unusual behavior, unauthorized activity, or policy concerns to site leadership.
- Complete routine reports, incident records, and shift communications, and help to deter disruptions by maintaining a visible presence and following post orders at all times.
Minimum Requirements:
- 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
