What You'll Do:
- Carry out security-related screening procedures for personnel, visitors, and/or deliveries in accordance with site-specific policies for a technology-focused location.
- Provide customer service by assisting clients and visitors, addressing inquiries, and communicating site rules and procedures in a professional manner.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating as necessary according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity, adapting to the unique environment of a tech/media/telecom location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verifying credentials and maintaining logs as required by site-specific requirements.
- Participate in emergency response activities when appropriate, following established procedures for the location.
- Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities in a timely and accurate manner.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
