As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by screening personnel and visitors, verifying access credentials, monitoring entry points, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally, and help deter incidents through a visible presence. This driving role requires a valid driver’s license. Pay Rate: $17.67 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers while carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Screen incoming and outgoing personnel, visitors, packages, and/or vehicles in accordance with location procedures and access requirements.
• Monitor access points and report unauthorized entry attempts, suspicious activity, policy violations, and other security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post instructions.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, sorting operations, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
