Security Officer - Retail Tactical

We are hiring Tactical Security in New Orleans!

STARTING PAY: $20.00 / Hour / Pays weekly

SHIFT: Must have open availability

Must be comforatble with wearing teflon vests and Tactical boots

MUST HAVE MINIMUM OF 2 YEARS IN SECURITY WITH CONSISTENCY. THIS INCLUDES MLITARY OR LAW ENFORCEMENT (NOT CORRECTIONS)

JOB DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Conduct regular foot patrols and/or vehicle patrols in a retail store
• Ensure the safety and security of the premises by monitoring entrances, exits, and activity on the property.
• Respond to incidents and alarms promptly, escalating to chain of command.
• Maintain visibility and presence to deter potential security breaches
• Assist in enforcing company policies and local laws as needed.
• Report any suspicious activity or safety concerns to management
• Document patrol routes and incidents accurately.

MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be 25 years of age or older.
• Former military or law enforcement experience preferred
• 5 years working in security
• Effective communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and in emergency situations.
• Physical fitness to perform foot patrols.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

As a Retail Security Officer, you will serve, safeguard and more for our clients and their guests in a retail setting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
