What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within the retail or mall environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with security-related matters as they arise.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Observe and report any security-related irregularities or suspicious activities encountered during patrols and/or while on post.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related issues and site needs.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and helping to manage the flow of people in and out of the location.
• Support emergency procedures as needed, including evacuation assistance and coordination with first responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
