Security Officer - Patrol Response Unit

As a Security Officer - Patrol Response Unit in Marietta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that may help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet employees and visitors, communicate clearly, and report concerns with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including perimeter checks, parking areas, and access points, as permitted by site policy.
• Monitor for unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized entry by observing doors, gates, and controlled access areas, and directing visitors to appropriate check-in processes.
• Complete patrol logs and incident reports, and assist with access control support such as verifying identification and monitoring visitor and contractor movement per site guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
