Security Officer - Patrol Response Officer

As a Security Officer - Patrol Response in Union City, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas through routine patrols, remain highly visible to help discourage incidents, and support access control and visitor flow. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site teams, and deliver customer-focused assistance when issues arise. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouses, yards, truck courts, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and interior areas for security-related concerns, document observations, and report maintenance and/or operational hazards through approved channels.
• Complete accurate shift reports, incident reports, and patrol logs, and communicate status updates during post handoffs to support continuity of operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be 21 years of age.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
